B.R.A.V.E Service

B.R.A.V.E provides short-term therapeutic support to help children and young people in Medway navigate challenges such as low mood, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, and self-harming behaviours.

North Kent Mind has been funded by Medway Council to deliver the B.R.A.V.E (Building Resilience And Validating Emotions) Service from November 2024- March 2026.

This project supports children & young people in Medway aged 5-18 (up to 25 with SEN and Care Leavers), including those not attending school or educated outside of school.

All children and young people must have a Medway address or a Medway GP to receive our service.

If they are already receiving therapeutic support elsewhere, we cannot provide sessions as this is therapeutically unsafe.

Please note if the young person has a social worker or early help involvement they must submit a referral via the Short Intervention Therapy.
