    We’d like invite you to join us on Saturday 17th May, from 9am to 10am, for Strong Mind, Strong Body, a unique session combining physical fitness with mindfulness to support mental well-being.

From start to finish, we were made to feel so welcome and supported. This generous donation will help us continue our work providing vital mental health services to people across our community, ensuring no one faces mental health challenges alone. Lived Experience Facilitator (Peer Support Worker) Lived Experience Facilitator (Peer Support Worker) Do you have lived experience of mental health issues and are passionate about supporting others? Would you like to work as part of a team with like-minded individuals to provide peer support to group members? We have the exciting opportunity for two Lived Experience Facilitators to join our team and support the delivery of the Service User Network (SUN) in Kent. SUN is a new initiative across the county, with Mind in Kent working with KMPT to co-facilitate groups for adults with Complex Emotional Difficulties. As an expert by experience, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals we support to take steps forward in their recovery journey’s. So, if you are empathetic and supportive, with strong professional boundaries and have a willingness to share your lived experiences to support others, we would love to hear from you! Yesterday, as part of Mental Health Awareness Week Yesterday, as part of Mental Health Awareness Week, we had the absolute privilege of partnering with @bluewatershopping and @_egofree @dlawfitness to host a special fitness session focused on the powerful connection between physical activity and mental health🧠 We know that looking after our mental health takes many forms, and for many people, movement and exercise can play a huge role in feeling better, thinking clearer, and managing stress. Yesterday was all about creating a space where people could come together, get active, and feel supported to speak out and reach out. There was so much energy, positivity, and community spirit and it was a beautiful reminder that when we move our bodies, we’re also doing something kind for our minds. The feedback and participation were incredible, and we’re so grateful to everyone who showed up and made it such a meaningful day. We’d like to extend a huge thank you to @bluewatershopping for giving us this opportunity and supporting such an important message.
