Do you live with, or care for, someone with a mental health problem? We recognise the importance of supporting people who are supporting others, so we are running a Mindfulness course specifically for you. This 5 week course will introduce you to Mindfulness Meditation practice, and simple techniques to help you cope with the stress of daily life, which will help you to improve your mental health wellbeing and build your resilience. The course will take place online via Zoom and each session will last for 90 minutes. (I.T support for Zoom is available).

Since coronavirus, the NHS has been providing more mental health support by telephone or online. This works better for some people than others – by sharing your experiences you could help make sure it’s done right.
A friendly online group for young people in 6th form or their 1st year of university. This is a safe space to support each other and prepare for the challenges that come with starting university. Topics may include; challenges with COVID-19, Mindfulness skills for managing stress, creating an effective coursework structure etc. This group is peer led which means we focus on whatever you want support with (to download poster please click here).

North Kent Mind is running a digitally based programme throughout December to help address the challenges people face in experiencing mental health and emotional issues. Our goal is to work together to learn and develop coping mechanisms and create positive change.

A friendly and relaxed space for adults with mental health issues to connect with others. Informal chats about a range of IT/Internet issues including keeping safe online, accessing the internet via laptops/mobile phones and help with Microsoft applications are covered.
