Over the Christmas period, Wellbeing Services will Over the Christmas period, Wellbeing Services will be running two Christmas drop in’s, within Dartford and Medway, available for anyone 17+ within the local area. Any attendee’s will need to sign up on the day, however we will be hosting Christmas games, promoting social inclusion, have a light lunch and refreshments available and everyone will receive a wellbeing Christmas box from North Kent Mind. North Kent Mind is proud to announce the launch of North Kent Mind is proud to announce the launch of our B.R.A.V.E Service (Building Resilience and Validating Emotions), which went live on the 27th November! This short-term therapeutic service supports children and young people (aged 5-18, and up to 25 for those with SEN or care leaver status) in the Medway area, helping them navigate challenges such as low mood, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, and self-harming behaviours. We offer a range of support, including DBT, CBT, and Creative Therapy, as well as workshops for young people, parents, caregivers and professionals. North Kent Mind is continuing to receive generous North Kent Mind is continuing to receive generous support from @radiant_star_lodge_8967 In the face of adverse weather caused by ‘Storm Darragh’ over the weekend, members of @radiant_star_lodge_8967 met with our Housing Manager, Tracey Hinton, to donate goods to our hostel and rough sleepers projects. The Brethren of both @radiant_star_lodge_8967 and Widows Sons Band of Brothers Grand Chapter have shown wonderful generosity by donating toiletries, hats, gloves, scarves, socks, coats and many other items for our hostel tenants and local homeless this Christmas. At what can be a difficult time of year for many, the donations will enable us to reach even more vulnerable members of our communities. Our colleagues, Gemma (Central services Manager) and Tracey (Supported Housing Manager), were invited to attend their fundraising event in Dartford to talk about the vital work we do and to meet those offering their support.
