This group offers a safe and welcoming environment to connect with others, explore how depression affects different areas of life, and develop practical tools to manage symptoms. Sessions run for two hours each week over twelve weeks. We’re looking for a qualified and motivated Chil We’re looking for a qualified and motivated Children & Young Persons (CYP) Therapist to join our friendly and passionate CYP team at North Kent Mind. You will deliver flexible, short-term therapy (6–12 sessions) to children and young people aged 5–18 (and up to 25 for those with additional needs or care leavers), using skills-based approaches including CBT, DBT-informed practice and Creative Therapies. Sessions are a mix of 1:1 and group work, with delivery in community venues and our Medway base. We provide: • Regular clinical supervision and line management support • Opportunities to shape and grow a service with impact • A supportive charity environment with a strong mission to improve mental health and wellbeing across our communities If you are a qualified therapist (counsellor, CBT therapist, creative arts therapist, play therapist etc.) with experience working with children and young people, we’d love to hear from you. 📣 We're Hiring 📣 We're seeking qualified Se 📣 We're Hiring 📣 We're seeking qualified Sessional Therapist to join our Children and Young People’s team on a sessional basis. This flexible role involves delivering short-term therapeutic interventions for CYP aged 5–18 (or up to 25 with SEND) across Medway. We are particularly interested in therapists with experience in CBT, DBT-informed approaches, counselling and creative modalities, who can offer effective support in a brief intervention format. Sessional Therapists must be registered with a recognised professional body and either engage in North Kent Mind’s clinical supervision or provide evidence of their own monthly supervision. A minimum of four sessions per week is expected, with working days agreed based therapist availability. Delivery takes place in our Chatham office, Family Hubs and community venues during core hours (9am–5pm).
