Triage Lead

Hours: 22.5 Hours per Week
Salary: £24,772 FTE (£15,064.50 pro rata)
Contract: Permanent
Location: Based in Chatham

North Kent Mind is looking for a Triage Lead to join our Medway Therapeutic Alliance team. This role is responsible for the assessment and triage of referrals received into the Alliance, helping to ensure children, young people and families access the most appropriate support based on their needs, risk and circumstances.

You will review referrals, complete triage assessments, identify and assess risk, make decisions regarding allocation and onward pathways, and act as a key point of contact for professionals, families and partner organisations. You will also support waiting list management, safeguarding processes and the smooth coordination of referrals across the Alliance.

We are looking for someone with experience of working with children and young people, a good understanding of safeguarding and the ability to make safe, informed decisions in a busy environment.
