Open Sessions

North Kent Mind run various Open Sessions to help promote inclusion and challenge stigma!

We have scheduled Activity Sessions, including crafts and art, physical activities such as Tai Chi.

We also run Social Skills Sessions, with the aim to develop confidence through recovery based activities and integrating with the community.

Sessions are held across Dartford, Gravesham, Swanley and Medway!

Gravesend Session
A weekly Social Skills peer led session, where you will be supporting the process and talking about Mental Health issues via an open discussion’s and weekly group engagement.

Swanley Session
A weekly Activity Session, which combines open discussion and exercise this gives the perfect opportunity for those with Mental Health issues to engage with other people in a fun active way (includes badminton, table tennis, short mat bowls and basic gym activities).

Dartford Session
A weekly session with scheduled activities that include crafts and art, physical activities such as Tai Chi.

Medway Social Skills Session
A weekly session (via Zoom) that promotes inclusion and challenges stigma.

Medway Activity Session
Our activity sessions help to promote inclusion and challenge stigma. The activities include arts and crafts, coffee and cake mornings and board games. Our sessions help people with mental health issues to gain confidence, encourage people to take that step to improve their social skills and be able to integrate back into the community.

  • Gravesend Social Skills Session – Every Monday – 11:30 / 13:30
  • Dartford Activity Session – Every Tuesday – 11:00 / 14:00
  • Swanley Activity Session – Every Wednesday – 11:00 / 14:00
  • Medway Activity Session – Every Wednesday – 10:30 / 12:30
  • Medway Social Skills Session – Every Saturday – 10:00 / 12:00 (via Zoom)
