On Saturday, May 18th 2024, staff members from North Kent Mind, our fundraisers and various other trepid explorers took on either the 25km or 50km challenge across the North Downs.
We set off from the historic Chatham Dockyard at 7am, walking through Chatham High street then onto the countryside which offered amazing views and interesting landmarks.

The North Kent Mind team weren’t quite brave enough to do the 50km but managed to complete the 25km trek in just under 7 hours (or 40,000 steps)
Our team and our fundraisers collectively raised just over £800, which also goes back in the charity and towards helping run our services for the local community.
We are hoping to take part in this event again for 2025 so keep checking back for further updates!
