I qualified as a Chartered Accountant over fifty years ago, and became a Partner with a London based practice in 1978, operating as a General Practitioner involved in Audit, Accounts Preparation and Personal Taxation, and also involved in the Charity sector.

Following the retirement of my business partners, I continued as a Sole Practitioner, based in North West Kent, until I decided to sell my practice in 2017 – retaining just a few clients.

With more time available, I was persuaded by a former employee of North Kent Mind to offer my services as a Treasurer – for which there was then a vacancy, and have since been assisting whenever required.

I am married, with two adult children, and four grandchildren aged 5,6,7 and 8.
