The Shed Project is an allotment that will provide a welcoming environment, which aims to promote personal wellbeing and belonging where peers support peers with their mental health recovery with a space for learning, socialising, recovering and gaining confidence.
We have, with the funding from- Sheds Kent and Medway Project; acquired an allotment plot in Gravesend.
The plot is ready to develop, construct, and cultivate a long term sustainable working allotment.
Prior gardening experience is not required as the project will develop your horticultural skills along with instruction and guidance on plot management and growing produce.
This project is a Peer led project and will be closed to a small team of individuals allowing continuity and satisfaction of the groups achievements and results
