North Kent Mind is seeking a Finance Officer to support the financial operations of our Children and Young People (CYP) services. This role is key to ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting across all CYP programmes.
What you’ll do:
- Manage accounts receivable and payable for CYP services
- Monitor income, reconcile payments, and prepare financial reports
- Maintain deferred income schedules and assist with revenue recognition
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and month-end processes
- Liaise with CYP managers to provide financial insights and ensure compliance
What we’re looking for:
- Relevant qualifications (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with accounting software and strong Excel skills
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of charity or non-profit finance is desirable
