North Kent Mind are recruiting a full-time Children and Young People’s Practitioner to deliver prevention and early intervention wellbeing support across Medway schools.

This role will focus on providing structured wellbeing coaching and guided self-help to children and young people, supporting them to build resilience, improve emotional wellbeing and develop positive coping strategies. We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of the mental health needs of CYP in Medway, experience delivering low-intensity or guided self-help interventions, and a genuine passion for creating positive change.

The post is full-time (37 hours per week) until 31st July 2026, with extension subject to successful funding. The practitioner will be based in schools during term time, with office-based work during school holidays to support the wider CYP services within North Kent Mind.
